News from the ipso! International School

On Thursday, 21st March, the children in PY2 and PY3 had a bike training session led by the local police. The children learnt basic road safety skills and also learnt what their bikes need to be road-safe.

On Wednesday 20th March, ipso! International School hosted its first Intraschool Orienteering day. The Intraschool sports group, involves us and 4 other International Schools in the area, with each school hosting a different sports event for PY3-6 each year.

The ECC C&B group visited the zoo and were thrilled to see the penguins walking around and discovering their habitat and eating habits. The other animals were also observed with enthusiasm by our children.

SY1 visited the anniversary exhibition at the Fondation Beyeler. The students learnt about some of the most important works in the collection, such as the painting "Your age and my age and the age of the world" by Anselm Kiefer. And no, there is no construction work in the museum...

In this year's Lions Club Peace Poster Contest with the theme "Dare to Dream," PY6 and SY1 actively participated. Within their respective class communities, thought-provoking conversations on peace were conducted, resulting in remarkable artistic creations from both classes.

An inspiring professional development day took place at EduLAB Basel when the teams from ipso! Haus des Lernens and ipso! International School Rheinfelden got together to explore the fascinating world of LEGO® Serious Play®.
